ROSEVILLE, CA -- The California Association of Federal Firearms Licensees (CAL-FFL) has announced that Mr. Rob Adams, owner of the highly-successful Rocklin, Calif., firearms dealership Sacramento Black Rifle, has joined the organization as its new Vice President.
“We are very excited to have Rob on the CAL-FFL team,” said Brandon Combs, the group’s President. “Not only has he built his business from the ground up into an industry leader in the commercial firearms sector, he’s one of the most committed gun rights advocates I know. Gun owners and our members will be well-served by his unparalleled vision and passion for excellence.”
Said Adams of his new role, “It’s an honor for me to have this opportunity to serve gun owners and CAL-FFL’s members. Law-abiding people and businesses have been on the defensive for decades. That’s unacceptable to me. It’s time to take the fight for Second Amendment rights to Sacramento in a big way.”
The organization also noted the addition of Sacramento political strategy and lobby firm Wildhorse Consulting to its policy arsenal, stating that 2014 represents a pivotal year for the issue of firearms laws.
The new relationship with Wildhorse, whose partners include the now-retired Representative Richard Pombo and longtime political strategist Sean Doherty, will allow CAL-FFL to comprehensively take on state and local policy issues as well as federal gun regulations coming out of Washington, D.C.
“CAL-FFL has done a tremendous job of blazing a new trail in gun rights advocacy here in California,” said Doherty. “We at Wildhorse are excited to build on that and work to restore sanity in our gun laws.”
